Amy Gamblin is an average human being (unless you ask her rescue animals who think she is the most amazing person on this earth!) She goes through the ups and downs of days, weeks, months, years…just like you. And she DOES have a drive within her to succeed and to work with others to succeed (whatever success may mean to you). WITH YOU…she is your partner in growth. She is dedicated to empower, inspire, and motivate. From this passion in serving others, she thrives…and she wants you to thrive, too!
In her own career path, Amy discovered a disconnect in aligning her true values with the work she was doing. Through this self-discovery process, she embarked on a journey that led her to a professional career in coaching. In doing so, she is committed to seeking out those who want to enrich and transform their lives through the powerful process of creating and fulfilling life-long goals.
Amy is an ACC credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation and a Certified Professional Resume Writer through the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches. She also has a passion for training and serves as a Certified Coach Trainer with the Center for Coaching Certification and is currently contracting to train coaches. As Owner of Solid Ground Career Coaching, she specializes in career coaching, offering personal and professional development coaching services and training workshops.
Amy has over 10 years of business experience with a background in project management and training. Prior to starting her business, Amy worked as a project coordinator and developed core business strengths by implementing global training procedures, serving as lead coordinator on multi-million dollar projects, and developing best practices and standard operating procedures for international teams. At the beginning of her professional career, Amy worked as a government contract analyst specializing in research and intelligence reports for the state and federal government. She is experienced in strategic planning, research and analysis, and training and development.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Kentucky and her Master of Arts degree in Diplomacy and International Relations from the Patterson School of Diplomacy at the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, Professional Association of Resume Writers, and the National Career Development Association.
Working with Amy has been a transformational experience. We started working together during a period when I was at the proverbial cross-roads of my career. Through her expert coaching she has given me the tools and sounding board I needed to determine a direction, define key goals, identify challenges and tools, and successfully work toward achieving my objectives.
Amy’s thoughtful, attentive nature, coupled with her true passion for your success lend to a personalized and meaningful coaching experience. Her ability to get to the heart of a person’s goals, obstacles and true ambitions is unmatched. Working with Amy has been inspirational to say the least. She has provided me the necessary tools to accomplish my goals, both professionally and personally, through a carefully-articulated solutions-based strategy.
I recommend Amy’s services to any person who is seeking increased professional focus and drive.
I’m really so thankful to Amy for the time and serious effort she put in to helping me after our seminar ended. Thanks to her, my resume is completely revamped, my cover letter writing is focused, I have a good understanding of how to conduct an effective job search, and perhaps most importantly I feel confident that my search will be successful. Thank you, Amy!
When you succeed, we all succeed. I am passionate about your growth and your success. The vision is to create a spirit of “making a difference” individually and throughout communities while offering encouragement and fostering growth for personal and professional success.
“Your potential is really up to you. It doesn’t matter what others might think. It doesn’t matter where you came from. It doesn’t even matter what you might have believed about yourself at a previous time in your life. It’s about what lies within you and whether you can bring it out.”
