This may take a few minutes to process

Typically, I’m a patient person. When others have talked about me as a co-worker, trainer, family member or friend, the majority of the time they say, “Amy is so patient.”

While I’m grateful for the positive comments….my comment to myself is, “PLUTTH!”

Finding that as I work on developing my business, my patience runs thin. I don’t have time to wait. I don’t have time for others to make a decision. I don’t have time for the crap. I don’t have time….I don’t have time!

How many have you felt that way? I’m sure I’m not alone here.

Then I say, “WHOAAA. Get back, Loretta.” For those who aren’t Beatles fans, it’s a reference to one of their songs…and yes, I now know how un-PC that is…I digress.

As I was uploading some new and creative things on a social media site, I got the message, “This may take a few minutes to process.” Whaaaat??? Again? Another few minutes? How long is that? Two minutes, five minutes, ten minutes???

Then, I reminded myself to breathe and be patient. Be patient because the final outcome WILL come – and when it does – it will be AWESOME!

Some of you may be facing challenges of being patient – either in your career search or your own business. You are putting in hard work, hustling day in and day out, putting yourself out there, doing things others may not be doing and perhaps still haven’t achieved the dream yet.

Yes, this may take a few minutes, a few days, a few months, even a few years to process. John Lennon (my favorite Beatle), at the young age of 16, formed a band in 1957 and it took five years before George Martin actually recorded the first session of the Beatles in the Abbey Road Studies in 1962. The rest is history.

Be patient. Don’t give up. Patience brings awesome things in our life and many times we give up before it has time to create itself into being. Imagine the possibilities when you keep striving!

It is coming. It is coming. Keep up the hard work and hustle! Keep doing what you are doing and if something isn’t working, take time to learn from others and create a different course of action. In the end, it will all be worth it!

If you want a coach to create a course of action with – give me a shout.
